Famous Ukrainian Chef Ievgen Klopotenko, who has been recognized as one of the most promising leaders in the world of gastronomy and entered 50 Next list by Basque Culinary Center, is coming to Washington DC to prepare a special Ukrainian pop-up dinner.
This event will take place at the first Ukrainian restaurant, Ruta, where his friend and partner in culinary diplomacy, Executive Chef Dima Martseniuk (former executive chef at Veselka restaurant in New York and culinary ambassador in the USA), invites you to a special performance on July 24. This event at the beautiful Capitol Hill will be a one-of-a-kind sensory and culinary experience. Ievgen and Dima combine timeless Ukrainian recipes with modern techniques to reimagine time-tested traditions, giving you an experience of a lifetime! Your ticket will include a unique seven-course dinner and wine pairing, and stories about the history of Ukrainian cuisine. 

Ievgen Klopotenko will collect all the money from this event for the Ukrainian Institute of Culture (ICU), and the funds will be used to purchase products in the de-occupied territories.
