5. Registration
5.1 Application.
The following policy sets the terms and conditions upon which Organizers can use the Services to create, promote and/or collect sales proceeds for an event selling tickets and/or registrations (this “Merchant Agreement”). Organizers by accepting the Privacy Policy, you agree to the terms of this Merchant Agreement without modification and enter into a contract with GeoTickets (must to be signed by both parties prior creating event), which will be applicable when and if you use the Services to create, promote and collect sales proceeds for an event selling tickets and registrations. GeoTickets reserve the right to deny allowing Organizers to use GeoTickets trademark and to refuse the service without an agreement.
5.2 Reference.
This Merchant Agreement and the rights and obligations contained in this Merchant Agreement are in addition to and are incorporated into the Privacy Policy by reference. Nothing in this Merchant Agreement shall be deemed to modify, waive, amend or rescind any other term of the Privacy Policy.
6. Payment Process
6.1 Payment Methods.
There is one type of payment processing options Organizers elect to use to collect sales proceeds for paid events: using third party payment services, such as Authorize.net on behalf of Chase Paymentech in which GeoTickets acts as Organizer’s limited payment collection agent.
6.2 Confirmation And Delivery Method.
Upon an order being placed by an Attendee and confirmed through GeoTickets, GeoTickets generates a confirmation message and issues a unique confirmation number for such Attendee’s order immediately by email provided along with electronic event ticket. If order number and ticket was not received Attendee have to contact Organizer directly. Organizer agrees to unconditionally accept, honor and fulfill all ticketing, registration, merchandise and donation commitments that have been confirmed by GeoTickets through the Services, and it is Organizer’s responsibility to verify an Attendee’s confirmation number and/or any event restrictions prior to the applicable event.
6.3 Fees.
Organizer agrees to pay GeoTickets all applicable service fees for each ticket, registration or other item sold via the Services.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 Requirements.
We understand that refund policies vary depending on the type of event and the Organizer. Because of that, we provide flexibility for Organizers to post their own policies with respect to their events, so long as they meet the following minimum requirements:
(a) Refund policies must be posted on the applicable event page;
(b) “No refund” policies are permissible, but must be clearly identified as such and must otherwise comply with these minimum requirements;
(c) Refund policies (including “no refund” policies) must provide for a refund or other make good for complete failure to provide services (event cancellation);
(d) Refund policies may not be changed with respect to purchases made prior to the date of such change and its posting to the applicable event page;
(e) Refund policies must otherwise be fair and reasonable.
If a refund policy is not posted or does not meet these minimum requirements set forth above, GeoTickets may (but has no obligation to) modify such refund policy such that it meets these minimum requirements.
7.2 Refund Process.
In order to initiate a refund request, an Attendee should contact an Organizer directly as set forth in the applicable refund policy. Organizer agrees to administer its refund policy in accordance with the terms set forth on the applicable event page and the minimum requirements set forth in Section 7.1 above.
Please note that the refund timeframe may vary depending on the payment method and processing times. However it should be no later than 60 days upon event cancellation notice. Service fees are not refundable.
7.3 Event Ticket Insurance.
The insurance component provides reimbursement for 100 percent of the ticket price including service fees however insurance charges are non refundable. Refund request could be initiated at any time prior the event start day and time. Event Ticket Insurance is optional and could be deactivated at the check out page prior the payment.
